Here is Jim's new project, actually it's a collaborating project between us both, but I was mostly the consultant Jim did the work.
Jim is retiring soon and I mentioned to him I needed a fairy door for our tree in the backyard. He enjoyed making it and so we are going to make a few for Etsy and see if anyone else has a interest in one. You can check it out our handmade items in Etsy  AnaWhoTwo shop.

I made these about a year ago and loved making them. I molded the head from polymer clay and painted details on it. This is the only one I made with a baby, and I thought it was pretty cute. I've only sold a couple of them on Etsy so I guess not everyone liked them but things are very competitive on Etsy, lots of items and sometimes it's hard to get seen. They have several marketing tolls but of course they want to charge for them. I tried it once and didn't find that it helped. Probably just another gimmick to make them more cash. Oh well, I enjoy making them and hopefully someone will love them when they stumble across them someday. I do them for the love of arts and crafts and it's a bonus if

We're getting ready to go on a little getaway and I'm looking forward to it. Nothing is sweeter than this beautiful cool fall weather. I've got so much work to do at home but I think this little trip will be good for me.  I'm hoping to find some beautiful  colorful leaves to bring home for some craft projects.
