I love the look of this hardware bracelet, when I was looking around I wandered into my husband's shop (when he was away of course...lol) and started going through his drawers of hardware and I thought why not make one with nuts and screws. I know it looks kind of masculine but I'm hoping someone out there can appreciate it. I made this in two sizes, this one pictured is about 1" tall and the other is bigger and chunky and about 1.5" tall, same inner dimension.

These make awesome bookmarks. What a perfect way to recycle a discarded book.
Here is the website that I found the tutorial... http://greenpaper.typepad.com/green/2009/12/now-the-clean-up-begins.html I had so old circuit boards from a computer and decided to try and make a Resin Bracelet. I lover the colors and I'm going to experiment with some others pieces of board and hopefully find some interesting colors to put together. This is a new mold I have that is very big and chunky, it gives me a lot of room to put interesting things in!
I am starting a 30 day challenge – 30 new pieces of jewelry in 30 days. It will be fun... I think...I hope!!! It will be a variety of crafts, paper crafting, needlework, resin, wire, glass pendants and whatever I think I might try! The challenge will begin today. Every day I’ll post a photo of what I made the day before. The photos will be posted here on the blog, on my facebook page, and on Instagram. Most pieces will be a listed in the Etsy store,. Some of these designs will not make it into the collection and some will. If you see something here that is not in my Etsy Shop, please drop me a convo and I'll check and see if I have it in inventory. Use SPRING2017 coupon code for FREE First Class SHIPPING w/ min. $10.00 purchase I've been having a blast making these resin bracelets. I bought some molds and resin and started finding all kinds of stuff to put inside them. There was definitely a learning period and I'm still learning on how to get the perfect clear bracelet but it's been fun. I am putting some of these on my Etsy shop so you can check them out there or send me a message if you a special order. I especially like the steampunk ones and going to try some more of those, I have sold those more than any others. I love the natural items like the leaves and I'm working on one with butterflies in it.
My Etsy shop My son drowned in Lake Michigan on June 2013, I celebrated his birthday with him 17 days before he died. He was living in Kenosha WI and that is where he died. I went alone to Kenosha on the 29th and had lunch at the place we last had lunch and then walked to the pier where he died. Hanging out there just remembering the many good times we had together, some ladies walked up and I took a picture of them with the beautiful water behind them, all of a sudden I blurted out the reason I was there. Then I felt badly because they were shaken by my story, they were very sweet and the one woman points toward the man walking toward us which was her husband and told me it was his birthday also. We all hugged and I wished him a happy birthday, it all felt very good and healing ♥
They have now put up a sign on the pier that warns people of the strong currents and no swimming, I hope it can save someone else from a tragic end. I wanted to drop something into the water that day and decided to drop a clear resin with a feather encased in it. I dropped it in the water, wishing Ben was there but feeling he was near. I watched as it slowly sunk in the water. Happy Birthday Benjamin! Love you Forever♥ This is a 50's or 60's old greeting card for Father's Day. Can you imagine giving this to a husband today! There are so many things wrong with this card it's funny. You can download a free PDF of this card here. It will print out on regular 8.5" x 11 paper and then you can fold it into a card. ![]()
Here is my attempt at a Altered Bratz doll. Thanks so Sonia Singh from Australia for the great idea! Here is her website http://treechangedolls.com.au/
I LOVE the look if these paper folded party circles. Some of the colors of the atlas pages make awesome colors in the folded design. These are pretty easy to make or if you'd rather not I have them for sale in my Etsy shop.

![]() I live in the Midwest and have a obsession for re-purposing items in crafts. There will be a large variety of things posted on here, if I like them I usually list them on Etsy to see if they raise any interest in someone's creative eye. Many of the items I make for my friends because they just don't have the time or craftiness...is that a word?... it should be! So I will post my creations and probably post some of my flops, because let's be honest, we crafters have many of those too. Drop me a line if you feel the need to say howdy! Archives
